SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS and Partial DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the design and functionality of the assigned rotary processing mechanical systems and other projects with a focus on using SolidWorks to complete the drawings for approval. May work with a consistent group of customers and be their point of contact. Responsible for the design, quoting, managing, and budgeting process of assigned projects, and ensures projects are completed on time.
- Primary engineer for specific customers and develop strong relationships with points of contact
- Reviews all RFQs with customers to ensure full project understanding
- Maintains constant communication with customers
- Works efficiently and meets assigned due dates for RFQs, deliveries, and projects
- Maintain MSHA certification
- Thorough understanding of project management
- Laying out a timeline of critical path items
- Keeping the project on schedule by avoiding bottlenecks, etc.
- Tracking project budget
- Understanding of mechanical systems, especially those related to Rotary Processing Equipment and related components
- Ability to read, understand, and comprehend drawings from multiple sources
- Use of measuring instruments (Vernier Calipers, Gauges, Rulers, Etc) in both standard and metric
- Ensures all relevant information is documented appropriately in the company CRM
- Travels to customer facilities as needed to perform inspections, installation supervision, and other activities requested by the customer
