Project Overview
Design, build, and install a 90″ OD x 45’ long rotary cooler. Project required modernizing a 1988 Finch design and drive system.
Project Specifications
- Supplied replacement cooler with internal flighting
- (2) floating pad mounted tires
- Spring plate mounted spur gear
- Discharge screen
- Modernized existing drive system with new pinion, motor, and gear reducer
- Designed and manufactured transition mounting plate to adapt new drive components to old drive base frame
- Supplied with (4) new trunnion rollers with bearings
- Manufactured new thrust roller heads and bronze bushings
- Installed cooler and provided training
